Kookaburra Homes Random Acts Of Kindness Project
We are SO excited to launch our Random Acts of Kindness Project – where we are gifting $30,000 worth of beautiful luxury hampers from The Hamper Emporium to some special people in our community to say, “Thank You”. ☺️?
This project is aimed at giving back to special individuals, families, businesses and organisations – whether it be people doing it tough due to personal circumstances, organisations raising money for charities or simply to say “thank you” to people who are doing what they can to support others. ?
Our first stop was the Ronald McDonald House Adelaide, where we gifted 20 mums staying at the house a hamper ahead of Mother’s Day.
We then launched the project on social media – asking the public to nominate people within their community who they thought would like to receiver a hamper. From these nominations, we have since gifted thousands of dollars worth of hampers to special people across South Australia. ☺️?
Some of these included the Drakes Foodland in Wallaroo, who we gifted $2000 worth of hampers to go towards their annual Heartkids fundraiser, the Ronald McDonald House Adelaide, where we donated an additional $1000 worth of hampers to be raffled off to raise money for children living with serious illnesses, Amy Purling, a local Adelaide mum who runs Miracle Mumma’s – spreading awareness for the Miracle Babies Foundation and Pauline Camp and Kimberly Cepon, the local duo who created Shoe Boxes of Love, a foundation donating shoeboxes of supplies to people affected by Australian disasters.
These are just some of the very first stops as part of our Kookaburra Random Acts of Kindness Project and we are looking forwards to continuing this project through the coming months, continuing to give back to as many deserving individuals, families and organisations throughout SA. ?✨
