Losing their family home in the 2020 bushfires, our customers wanted to build a new and approved home on their existing block that felt like a luxurious retreat away from Adelaide’s busy city life.
Built in and amongst the rolling Adelaide Hills, this home’s unique design maximises on its stunning surroundings perfectly. Built on acreage, our customers wanted to design a large, spacious home with a vast façade to create the ultimate street presence. Using beautiful products such as Scyon Linea Cladding, mixed with the detailed stonewall and matte black trims, the façade is the perfect balance between a modern and country design – resulting in a striking exterior that sets the tone for the rest of the home.
Its connection to the outdoors is impeccable with the inclusion of a raked ceiling, floor to ceiling windows, electrical louver windows and bi-fold doors, creating an incredibly spacious, light and airy open plan living area that seamlessly flows out onto the surrounding verandah. Its innovative layout and clever features capitalise on the picturesque views, making this home an entertainer’s paradise.
The main living area is undoubtedly the hero of this home. As soon as you walk through the front door, you are captivated by the uniqueness of this design. From the polished concrete floor, sandstone walls and Caesarstone stone benchtops, this home brings nature’s natural elements inside to create a luxurious and elegant design. The stonewall projects a beautiful focal point in the open plan living area, with its continuous flow from the interior to the exterior creating the perfect transition from the outside-in. The blend of the polished concrete flooring and the natural stonewall creates a beautiful match that enhances this design’s high-end luxurious feel.
This home also takes technology and innovation to the next level. Along with the high-end appliances, the electrical louver windows throughout the home are controlled through a Bluetooth connection, allowing the louvers to open and close at the indicated indoor temperature set through a mobile app. As this home is located in a bushfire zone, we ensured this build was bushfire compliant, with specific additional requirements added to the property to ensure the safety of our customers and their home well into the future.
The result is a stand-out modern-country home.
